It’s with enormous gratitude and not a little sadness that I write my final message for this campaign. Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing proposition, and unfortunately, HEROINES didn’t reach its goal. Not this time, anyway. HEROINES is a very special book to me, and I will find a way to make it happen. But if Kickstarter is good for anything, it’s good for testing the waters. Netflix is a part of my lifeline. I spend hours on end every day drawing, inking, etc. If I don’t have something to occupy mind, I get distracted and wander off.
